THE UNKNOWN URGE

(Fiddle-footed – restless wandering)

While meditating I’m fiddle-footed
although my physicality’s rooted —
In the ocean, a fish fiddle-footed
and will leave sunken treasure[s] un-looted.
A dog seeking to be fiddle-footed
would consider a leash to be ill-suited.
Canada Geese flying fiddle-footed
will break rank, scatter, their structure crooked.
An odd smell stirred the cat – fiddle-footed [!]
running through the weeds — a zigzag bullet.
